Leave a lasting legacy by pledging your support to fund part of the New Market Interpretive Initiative. Underwrite a wayside marker, an audio tour stop, or an orientation sign and you’ll be credited and listed as the donor. (You can ask us to credit your name, a business name, or a special person you wish to honor.) The letters and numbers below indicate where the signs are located on the enclosed map.
Orientation Signs ($3,000)
Provide an overview of the battle with a large-scale map and guide to interpretive locations. Sponsor one of the 3 new orientation signs and you’ll be credited on the sign. This signs will include:
A. Sign at the New Market Town Park
B. Sign at the Woodworth Cottage (Rupert School)
C. Sign at the Rice Property (Stanley Hall)
Wayside Interpretive Markers ($1,500)
Sponsor one of the 17 new interpretive markers and you’ll be credited on the marker.
Audio Tour Stops ($1,000)
Sponsor a stop on the New Market cell phone tour. Your name will be credited when visitors dial that stop.
Most of the interpretive stops and audio tour locations are co-located but tell different parts of the history at those stops. Each interpretive marker will include a QR code linking users to the corresponding audio tour stop.
